Iris the Land Girl

 

Our Iris outfit consists of dungarees, a short-sleeved top, green jumper, belt, armband, badge, floral headscarf and even some genuine wartime coins to jingle in your pockets!

 

The outfit is freshly laundered and pressed before being posted to you but the dungarees may still have some mud or grass stains on them since they are hard-working garments! You can iron them on a hot setting if they are a little creased and the top and jumper on a medium setting.

 

The size of the outfit is based on the waist size of the dungarees. Measure your waist and remember to allow a little room for tucking in the jumper. There are extra buttons on the dungarees to help with size adjustments. Please ask if you are not sure which size to book.

You can also hire 40s style black wellington boots, clear plastic rain coats and clear umbrellas!

 

How To Hire

 

Return customers please note our new booking and payment arrangements. We haven't put our prices up, it just looks like we have :)

 

Hire cost is £72 including postage both ways. 

 

Your booking is confirmed on receipt of payment.

A deposit of £50 will also be taken at the time of booking. This will be refunded as soon as the outfit is received back by us.

 

When booking, please think about the day you would like your outfit to arrive, this can be especially important if you are travelling far to your event. You will need to make this the first day of your 7-day booking slot. All bookings are for the standard 7 days unless otherwise requested.

 

For example: If you need your outfit for a Saturday and Sunday event, we would recommend booking your outfit from the Thursday, this is to ensure you get it in plenty of time to perfect your 40's look.

If you book your outfit at the last minute there may be an additional charge to get it to you in time.

 

We can post to the whole of the Mainland UK. There will be an additional charge for Highlands, Islands and N Ireland.
